The much-anticipated 2nd Edition of the Satpuda King of Mountain Race is returning in the winters of 2024. This thrilling race will showcase a unique combination of cycling and running formats across two days, offering participants the ultimate King of the Mountain challenge.
Event Schedule
Day 1: Saturday, 30th November 2024
Event: King of Mountain Cycle Race
Route: From Nagpur to Pachmarhi, covering a distance of 250 km.
Format: Participate solo or as a team of two.
Day 2: Sunday, 1st December 2024
Event: King of Mountain Run
Route: Choose between a 42 km marathon from Matkuli to Chouragarh or a 21 km climb from Pachmarhi to Chouragarh.
Participants can either compete in both the cycling and running races or opt for one, but either way, they will be part of this iconic race event.

Day 1: King of Mountain Cycle Race
Start Point: Zero Mile, Nagpur
Finish Point: Entry Gate of Pachmarhi
Distance: 250 km
Checkpoints: 5 checkpoints along the route.
All riders will be live-tracked via GPS, with real-time leaderboards and commentary on social media, ensuring spectators stay engaged with the race.
Photography and videography services will capture every participant’s effort and adventure along the route.
Rules and Regulations for the Cycle Race
The race is a road bike race with no aerobars allowed.
No external support is permitted during the race.
Riders must be self-sufficient for any mechanical issues or punctures.
Support will be available only at the designated checkpoints.
Riders are required to carry the tracking device at all times.
The total time allowed to complete the race is 14 hours.
